The Audit Committee is a standing committee of the Tennessee Board of Regents charged with providing oversight and accountability on fiscal and audit matters within the TBR system.
The Audit Committee meets as necessary, at least annually and usually quarterly, and complies with public notice requirements of the Board. A majority of the committee members must be present to constitute a quorum. All committee meetings shall be subject to the open meetings provisions as set forth in the Tennessee Code Annotated.
